258 Hurstmere is a luxury complex of high-end residential apartments and villas, bordering Lake Pupuke in Takapuna on Auckland’s North Shore.

Veron were initially engaged to investigate ongoing weathertightness issues. Following a visual survey and destructive testing, we provided professional remedial advice and managed the development of the detailed design, providing specialist design guidance in conjunction with adding architectural improvements,

Veron obtained the building consents and undertook contractor procurement, with an overall project value of $7.5M

The remediation of the complex is being undertaken in two stages, with stage one nearing completion – during construction Veron provided timber framing inspections, quantity surveying services, drone surveys, construction monitoring, project management and contract administration.
