Veron Building Consultants was engaged by the Body Corporate of Ascot Villas to support a large‑scale, staged remediation programme across a multi‑unit residential villa and townhouse development. The project involves multiple building typologies and required a structured, phased approach to investigation, design, and delivery to manage risk, cost, and resident disruption.
Veron was appointed to provide building surveying, architectural design, quantity surveying, project management, and contract administration services, acting as an integrated consultant across both the investigation and delivery phases. This approach ensures continuity between early technical findings, scope development, cost planning, and construction delivery as each stage progresses.
Veron’s involvement commenced with a weathertightness investigation and reporting, identifying confirmed failures and their causes across the development. These findings informed a clear, evidence‑based scope of remedial works and a staged delivery strategy aligned with the varying construction typologies.
Block 1 has progressed through design and is now largely complete, with construction works well advanced. Blocks 2 to 4 are currently in the design phase, where Veron continues to provide detailed design development, quantity surveying, and procurement planning to support the next stages of construction.
This staged approach allows design and delivery to proceed in parallel, providing the Body Corporate with flexibility, cost control, and clarity as the programme advances.
Veron’s integrated delivery model has provided the Body Corporate with confidence and control across a complex, multi‑stage remediation programme. The completed and in‑progress works demonstrate a structured pathway from investigation through to construction, supporting consistent quality, informed decision‑making, and alignment with the long‑term durability and value of the Ascot Villas development.
